Alumina Powder, also called Alumine Grinded Powder or Bauxite, Aluminium oxide is an amphoteric oxide with the chemical formula Al2O3. It is commonly referred to as alumina, or corundum in its crystalline form, as well as many other names, reflecting its widespread occurrence in nature and industry.
Alumina Powder Uses: Its most significant use is in the production of aluminium metal, although it is also used as an abrasive due to its hardness and as a refractory material due to its high melting point. Specifically, it can be used as filler, catalyst and catalyst support, abrasive or for applications like gas purification and related absorption and so on.

Bauxite (Alumine) Fine Powder Grinding Process:

Aluminium hydroxide minerals are the main component of bauxite, the principal ore of aluminium. After Bauxite stone comes out of the ground, it typically goes on a conveyor belt to a preparation plant that is located at the mining site. The Bauxite plant cleans and processes stone ( washing machine).Then stone were crushed into small ones through primary crushers. After the materials are put into the grinding room of the main equipment, the material is slowly and steadily worn away. The grinding wheel acts like many hundreds of very small lathe bit, each cutting off some metal from Alumina. Grinding abrades material in a way similar to sanding. After seprated and collected,we finally get the fine powder. Known as alundum or aloxite in the mining, ceramic and materials science communities, alumina finds wide use.
