The jaw crusher is a common crushing equipment and is widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy and chemical engineering. It is abbreviated as the jaw crusher and also known as the tiger's mouth. It is mainly used as a coarse crusher and a medium crusher. The jaw crusher adopts the extrusion crushing working principle. It is composed of two jaw plates, the movable jaw and the static jaw, to form the crushing cavity. It simulates the movement of the two jaws of an animal to complete the material crushing operation. After more than a hundred years of technological accumulation and continuous innovation and upgrading, the jaw crusher has the advantages of intelligent environmental protection, high efficiency, simple structure, reliable operation and low operating costs.

There are numerous common models of jaw crushers, such as European jaw crushers and mobile jaw crushers. In addition, Cronus mining machinery manufacturer also offers tailor-made services to meet the needs of different users. These different models of jaw crushers vary in parameters such as feed particle size, output particle size, processing capacity, and motor power, and their prices range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of yuan.

The model parameters of the jaw crusher are multiple data points that need to be noted when purchasing. They not only relate to the production line output, investment cost and other aspects, but also affect the site layout, installation area and so on.

The jaw crusher is mainly composed of movable jaws, liners, thrust plates, fixed jaw plates, side guard plates, frames, eccentric shafts and spring pull rods, etc. Its working part consists of two jaw plates. One is a fixed jaw plate, which is vertically fixed to the inner wall of the machine body. The other one is the movable jaw plate, with the upper part supported by an eccentric shaft and the lower part supported by a thrust plate. The crushing liner plate consists of the movable jaw plate, the fixed jaw plate and the side guard plates on both sides. In the actual production process, the tooth surfaces on the liner plate are in direct contact with the crushed materials and are subjected to huge impact and squeezing forces. It is a vulnerable part of the crusher. The material is mostly high manganese steel, which has good wear resistance. The eccentric shaft pulley and flywheel are respectively installed at both ends, simultaneously supporting the movable jaw and bearing huge bending and torsional forces, functioning as a crank.

The working principle of the jaw crusher is that the motor drives the belt and pulley, and the movable jaw moves up and down through the eccentric shaft. When the movable jaw rises, the Angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate. The material is crushed under the effects of compression, splitting and bending. When the movable jaw descends, the Angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases. Under the action of the pull rod and the spring, the movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate, and the crushed material is discharged from the lower opening of the crushing cavity. As the motor rotates continuously, the motor jaw of the crusher moves periodically to crush and discharge materials, achieving batch production.

The jaw crusher features a large crushing ratio, uniform output particle size, stable and reliable operation, convenient and simple maintenance, and high production efficiency. It is widely applied in industries such as mining, smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy and chemical engineering.
