Grading and discharge: After grinding, the finely ground material is graded through a screen or air flow classification system and divided into different particle size levels according to the size of the particle size. The finer particles are discharged from the bottom of the screen or classification system, while the coarser particles are re-sent to the grinding disc for re-grinding.

Circulation and circulating air: In order to improve the grinding effect and control the temperature of the mill, the vertical mill usually adopts a circulating air system. A part of the gas is introduced into the vertical mill through the fan to form an air circulation, thereby taking away the heat and fine powder and maintaining the temperature and humidity inside the mill.
