Main structure of double roll crusher
The core structure of the double-roll crusher is reasonably designed and durable, and mainly includes the following components:
Roller (crushing roller)
Two parallel cylindrical rollers are used as the main working parts.
The surface can be designed to be smooth (suitable for fine crushing) or toothed (suitable for coarse and medium crushing).
The material is usually made of high manganese steel, alloy steel or other wear-resistant materials to increase the service life.
Transmission device
It consists of a motor, a reducer, a coupling and a V-belt.
It can be driven by a single motor (one motor drives two rollers) or a double drive (two motors drive separately).
The transmission is smooth and the noise is low, ensuring efficient operation.
Adjustment device
It is used to adjust the gap between the two rollers (the size of the discharge port) to control the particle size of the discharge.
The adjustment methods include manual adjustment, mechanical spring adjustment or hydraulic adjustment (higher degree of automation).
Frame (support structure)
It is welded with high-strength steel plates to ensure the stability of the whole machine.
Some models are equipped with a mobile base (with tires or tracks) for easy on-site movement.
Safety protection device
Overload protection system (such as spring buffer or hydraulic safety device) to prevent foreign objects from getting stuck and damaging the equipment.
Some models are equipped with automatic reset function, which automatically resumes working state after foreign objects are discharged.
Working principle
The working principle of the double-roll crusher is based on the dual effects of extrusion + shear force to achieve material crushing:
Feeding stage
The material to be crushed enters evenly between the two rollers from the top feed port.
Bite and crushing stage
The two rollers rotate in opposite directions (inward or outward), using friction to bring the material into the crushing chamber.
Under the action of high-pressure extrusion and shear force, the material is gradually crushed and ground.
Discharge stage
The material that meets the particle size requirements is discharged from the discharge port under the two rollers.
The material that does not meet the standard continues to remain in the crushing chamber for secondary crushing.
Particle size adjustment mechanism
By adjusting the distance between the two rollers (0.2~20mm), the discharge particle size (such as 5~50mm) can be accurately controlled.
