Production Capacity: 200 tons per hour
Processed Material: Potash Feldspar, Feldspar-group minerals
Finished Product Fineness: 325 Mesh
Core Equipment: Raymond Mill, Bucket Elevator, Jaw Crusher
Production Overview:
Potash feldspar has a specific gravity ranging from 2.56 to 2.59, a hardness of 6, and a low melting point. It is primarily used in the production of glass, ceramics, and similar products, and can also be utilized to manufacture potash fertilizers. Potash feldspar powder is characterized by its brittleness, high compressive strength, and chemical stability. The finished products derived from grinding and processing this mineral have a wide range of applications; the successful realization of these applications relies heavily on the establishment of an efficient potash feldspar grinding production line, which ensures effective pulverization of the mineral.
Potash Feldspar Grinding Process:
This case study details a complete potash feldspar grinding production line designed for a client in Anhui. The primary grinding equipment involved in this design includes crushers, feeders, conveyors, and Raymond mills.
The powder production workflow is as follows:
First, the raw ore undergoes crushing. Large blocks of potash feldspar are transported via conveyors and fed through a feeder into a jaw crusher for primary reduction. The necessity of secondary crushing depends on the required feed size for the grinding mill; in all cases, the crushed potash feldspar must have a particle size smaller than the maximum allowable feed size of the grinding mill.
Next, the crushed potash feldspar is lifted by a bucket elevator into a storage hopper. Material is discharged from the storage hopper and fed uniformly into the main chamber of the potash feldspar grinding mill via a feeder. During the grinding process, potash feldspar powder that meets the specified fineness is separated by a screening system, conveyed through ducts into a collector, and subsequently discharged through an outlet pipe as the finished product. Any material that does not meet the fineness specifications falls back into the main grinding chamber for further pulverization.
Finally, the airflow—purified after passing through the potash feldspar grinding mill—flows through a residual air duct located above the dust collector and into a blower. This ensures a clean working environment and effectively minimizes dust pollution. The entire potash feldspar grinding production line operates with a smooth workflow and represents a complete, integrated process. On-site Photos:
